- Checking for decay on all tooth surfaces
- Diagnostic x-rays to screen for cysts, tumors, decay, or bone loss
- Checking tooth and root positions
- Recommendations for oral hygiene tools and habits
- Tooth stain and plaque removal for overall tooth polishing
